Campbell River Septic operates as a Registered Onsite Wastewater Practitioner serving Campbell River, Willow Point, and Quadra Island. What we do

We hold ROWP registration with the Applied Science Technologists and Technicians Association of BC. As your Authorized Person, we design, install, file, and certify Type 1 and Type 2 systems under 9,100 litres per day. We carry business insurance and a business licence.
We also install Type 3 systems. Engineers or geoscientists design Type 3 systems. If your job needs one, we let you know up front.
What are the parts of your septic system called?
A typical system includes a tank, lid, riser, filter, distribution box, and drain field. Those are the words on your quote.
A septic system is not complicated once somebody names the parts. Your household wastewater flows into the septic tank first to settle. A tank lid gives you access, and a riser brings that lid up to grade. An effluent filter on the outlet keeps solids from reaching the ground.
Next, a distribution box splits the water into your drain field where the soil finishes filtering it. If gravity will not push water through your lot, we install a pump and float switch to move it under pressure.
When a system fails, your drains slow down first before wastewater pools in the yard. We will name every part we touch on your quote, and explain any of them you want explained.
How we work
We walk the property before we quote it. We make sure of it on every job.
We come out and look before we give you a number. We tell you whether your job needs a filing with Island Health, and we handle that filing when it does. You get the price in writing, and we clean up before we leave.
